Playing late in the day in breezy conditions and with the golf course beginning to firm up once again after rain early in the week, Peter made a good start when he reached the turn in two under 33, courtesy of two putt birdie at the 4th and a 15 foot birdie putt at the 9th. Bogeys at the 14th after finding the right rough then getting a flyer from there and at the 18th after a pulled tee shot saw him finish at even par for the day and for the tournament. Two good finishing rounds could well see Peter right back into contention but he will need to captalise on the chances that come his way on this increasingly difficult golf course. |

Peter has made the weekend for the tenth time in his last eleven starts at this week's Bell Canadian Open and although he has finished his first thirty six holes right on the cut line, he is within just seven shots of the lead on what is a very congested leaderboard.
