It was a case of more of the same for Peter in today's opening round of
the 2008 Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship, his opening
round of 70 not bad but again he has been frustrated by a bad day on
the greens.
"I have tried a few different things," he said as he practiced on the putting green adjacent to the clubhouse as gathering storms clouds. Peter is still well enough placed however and when play was called off for storms at 3.03 pm we was only four shots behind the leaders Peter Wilson and Tim Wilkinson. The likelihood of further play on day one is becoming increasingly remote as the threatening storm clouds remain above Hyatt Regency Coolum.             |
