It has been another disappointing week for Peter at the Reno Tahoe Open, his marginal improvement on day two not enough to get him near the cutline. Peter 's rounds of 75 and 73 left him four short of the required mark.

Peter was making good progress through nine holes, picking up two early birdies and at that point he had moved within one of the cut but a a struggle over the final few holes cost him.

Peter actually had a great week from the tee, faring well in both accuracy and distance stats but that was countered by not hitting his aproaches close enough and not making enough putts when he did.

Without a start in next week's PGA Championship, Peter must now wait until the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro starting on August 20th for his next event which is the final event before the FedEx Playoffs for which he is not at this stage qualified.
