After battling early in round two, Peter had fought his way back with consecutive birdies at the 14th and 15th holes but the potentially dangerous 18th was still to come. Peter missed the fairway right with his tee shot and had 173 yards for his approach. He pulled it left and found the hazard which guards the left half of the hole. He was forced to drop on the other side of the hazard and although he pitched to 10 feet he missed his bogey saving putt and took double. Despite the disappointment of missing the cut in such a frustrating manner there were several good signs this week including when Peter birdied his last three holes in round one to recover from what had been a slow start to the event. Peter eventually missed the cut by two and he now heads to Ponte Vedra Beach for this coming week's Players Championship
