A round of 68 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational was a significant improvement for Peter on the final day of the event at Bay Hill and as he heads to next week's Shell Houtson Open he has something more positive to work on than was the case 24 hours earlier. A third round of 77 cost Peter any chance of a solid week but today he quickly moved to three under through six holes before pulling his approach to the par four 16th and finding water. He took double bogey there but regained one of those shots with a fine tee shot at the par four 2nd (his 11th) and holed from 13 feet. He dropped another shot when he missed the 4th green but at his final hole of the week (the 9th) he hit an excellent approach from 215 yards to 15 feet and holed for one final birdie. Peter has played this coming week's Shell Houston Open only twice, missing the cut on both occasions but with an imporved effort behind him today there is light at the end of what has been a dark tunnel to date in 2009.
