Peter has made a slow start to Final Stage PGA Tour qualifying his opening round of three over par 75 at the Crooked Cat course at Orange County National leaving him in a share of 117th psotion at the end of the first of six days.

Peter made a solid enough start, reaching the turn in 1 under but then struck trouble immediately on making the turn. He bogeyed four of his next eight holes and finds himself with a lot of work to do over the next 90 holes.

In his favour is that he has a lot of time to make up lost ground. 

The leading 25 players and ties on that score will secure a PGA Tour card in 2011.
