It was another week of Friday frustration for Peter, his second round of 72 narrowly missing a chance to play the weekend at this week's US Bank Championship. It was the second week in succession that he had missed the cut after a good start to an event.

Just as he had done last week at the John Deere Classic, Peter started well this week with an opening round of three under 67 and today was still comfortably inside the cut line before two quick bogies early in his back nine had him flirting with the cutline. A birdie at his 15th hole gave him a cushion but when he double bogeyed his 7th (the 8th hole) he needed a miracle at the last.

He managed a birdie to finish but his 1 under total would fall one shot short of the mark. 

Peter will take next week off and is likely be to seen next at the WGC Bridgestone event in Ohio.
