A final round of 73 has seen Peter finish 48th at the Verizon Heritage Classic. An early bogey set the tone for a frustrating day which had promised a little more given Peter's improved play earlier in the week. Peter got it back to par at the par five 5th but bogies at the 10th and 11th put paid to any realistic chances of a good week.

There were some positive signs however, more especially in Peter's driving and (until today at least) his putting. A stretch of three holes in yesterdays' third round was exciting as in those holes on the homeward nine Peter birdied two and eagled the other (the par four 16th). There he holed his approach from 127 yards.

Peter will now head west to New Orleans for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans where last year he finished runner up behind Anders Romero.  (see pictured)
