As Peter prepared for this week's Bell Canadian Open he talked about the demanding golf course the field would face this week.

"I played here three years ago and it might be that it played even a little tougher then as it was fast and firm. This year however it is very soft from recent rain but that will mean that if you miss these fairways the rough will be long and thick and make reaching the greens tough."

"I actually drove the ball alright last week but other areas of my game were not so good and while I obviously made the cut I still have a fair bit of work to do."

Peter finished 14th at the Canadian Open the last time he played at this course in 2003. His last round of 67 that year saw him make up a lot of ground on the final day.

Peter plays early on day one when he will again be paired with Vijay Singh and also Mark Calcavecchia. Peter played with Singh in the opening rounds last week.
