"The fairways are tight, the rough is thick and the greens are small but I think it is a very good golf course," said Peter after his practice round with fellow countryman and fellow Links Sports stablemate Nathan Green and, over the last few holes, with Jason Bohn. "The greens are quite heavily contoured although they tend to be sweeping contours rather than all over the place and at this stage of the week they are not running ridiculously fast." "I feel quite happy with my game and especially my driving which has improved a lot of late. I guess I will only really know when it is put under tournament conditions as I have not played an event for three weeks but it is feeling good." Peter will play at 8.20 on Thursday and then has an afternoon time in round two. |

As Peter completed his first practice round of tournament week at the PGA Championship he expressed his continuing delight with the Medinah Country Club. Having seen the course for the first time in a one off practice round nearly two weeks ago, Peter said he felt even more positively about it than he had back then.
