Round two of the Fresh Express Classic in California might have eventually resulted in a missed cut in the Nationwide Tour event but for Peter there was sufficent improvement to give him encouragment for the weeks ahead.

A second round of even par 70 over the demanding windswept layout at the TPC Stonebrae in Hayward California left Peter four shots outside the cut mark but it was a more solid all round performance. The short putter was not the answer he was looking for on the difficult greens and Peter is still deciding which way to go with his putter.

He will now head back to Orlando before his next event, the South Gerogia Classic, in Valdosta in Georgia beginning on April 28th.

Peter had hoped that as a former winner of the Heritage Classic (2005) he might get a start in this week's PGA Tour event but the automatic exemption period of five years has expired and he was not granted a sponsor's invite.
