Consecutive birdies on the opening two holes placed pressure on Peter early on day two and when he added another bogey at the 9th, he needed something very special over the back nine to have any chance of playing the weekend. That possibility was enhanced when he birdied the 10th but things hardly progressed from there and he finished at 3 over for the tournament. The likely cut will be 1 under although that may not be decided until Saturday morning as the tournament is again behind schedule.
Peter is now scheduled to play the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in California in two weeks time.
