"Having got myself into a position after thirty six holes to do well over the weekend I was unable to move forward., said Peter on Sunday evening. "There were some good positives to come out of the week and it was my second best finish of the year but I really didn't play the par fives well enough all week. In fact I think I played them two over which is never going to get the job done." "Hopefully I can take the positives out of what was a better finish into next week at Cog Hill where I have played well previously and which is a golf course I enjoy." Peter struggled to get going early in his round today and although he made a couple of good par saves early he bogeyed the 4th after missing the fairway and green. His first birdie came at the 10th from 13 feet but then thre putted the par five 13th from 12 feet. He bogeyed the next after missing the green but did manage to birdie the short par four 15th at which he found the green with his tee shot. He missed good chances at the 17th and 18th and his 71 saw him slip from 5th to 9th. Peter earned US$101,000 for his share of 11th and moves to 81st on the money list with US$661,000. |

A final round of 71 has seen Peter finish in 9th place at this week's Buick Championship. It was Peter's second best finish of the year but it was perhaps a week that could have been better.
