Despite an early tee time on day one of the Barclays Classic, Peter has struggled in his opening round and has finished with a two over par 73.

The day started well with a great par save at the first and then a birdie at the second after Peter had hit his second to three feet.  He then bogied the third after a poor second and a missed short putt. A birdie at the par five fifth had him back at one under but things went backwards from that  that point with four bogies in the next ten holes before a birdie at the uphill par five last.

At two over, Peter has some work to do tomorrow if he is to make what is looking like a cut of around one over par.
