After a week back home at his house in Orlando, Peter is in Tampa this week for the Transitions Championship an event previously known as the PODs Championship amongst other names.
"I had a good week with David Leadbetter during my week off and have practiced hard
all week," said Peter on Wednesday. "The course this week is in perfect condition.Far softer
than usual and playing a little longer. Hopefully I will get it together this week."
"I'm back to the old Mrs Lonard long putter this week and very importantly am
excited about the way the mighty Bulldogs started the season!"
Peter has played this event on six previous occasions making the cut in all but one and recording a best of 9th in 2002.

Peter has again missed the cut at a PGA Tour event after a horror stretch in the middle of his second round cost him any chance of making the weekend field at the Honda Classic.
After an opening round of 74 yesterday, Peter worked his way back into a good position when he turned in one under 34 on day two but five dropped shots in his next four holes eliminated any chance of making the cut. A birdie at the last was only a consolation and his round of 73 left him four short of the required mark.
Peter will now have to wait until the Transitions Championship in Palm Harbor In Florida on March 19th to get his year moving in a positive direction.
Peter looks to convert opportunities

Peter is in Palm Beach Gardens in Florida for this week's Honda Classic seeking an improvement in scoring. He knows his tee to green game is going well enough but in order for him to contend he needs to convert some of the opportunities he is creating for himself.
"The course this week is playing relatively long and at this stage has soft greens and fairways," said Peter on Wednesday evening. "The rough isn't as deep as it has been in the past so it is difficult to say exactly how it will play."
Peter has played this event on three previous occasions with a best of 11th at his first appearance in 2002.
Peter has an afternoon tee time on day one when he will play with John Senden and Jay Williamson.

Peter has put together an improved final round of 69 at the Mayakoba Classic but it did little to improve his overall standing in the tournament in which he has played well previously.
It was a week where his tee to green game was near its best, finishing 7th in driving accuracy and 1st in greens in regulation but his putting proved his downfall once again.
Peter eventually finished 46th and will now focus his attention on this coming week's Honda Classic at Palm Beach Gardens in Southern Florida.
Peter's putting lets him down in Mexico

Peter has struggled on the greens in the opening two rounds of the Mayakoba Classic in Mexico but at 2 under he is still reasonably well placed as the tournament enters the weekend.
After an opening round of 69, Peter had moved to 4 under for the tournament as he made the turn in round two but bogies at his 12th and 13th holes set him back and another at the last was a disappointing way to finish the day.
Peter's play from tee to green was amongst the best he has played in some time and if he can find a way to get a few putts to drop over the closing 36 holes then he is not too far away from contention.
