Peter is in New Orleans this week for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Peter has played the event just once previously that being in his first year on the PGA Tour when he finished 23rd at English Turn Golf Club in 2002.
This year the event returns to the Pete Dye designed TPC Louisiana where it was played for the first time in 2005 before the course being ravaged by Hurricane Katrina later that year. It was played once again at English Turn last year but is back to what appears a long term home.
Peter plays at 7.51am on day one when he tees it up with Robert Gamez and Ted Purdy.

In continuing blustery conditions, Peter has recorded a final round of 75 at the Verizon Heritage Classic and has finished in a share of 36th place in the event.
Returning to the course to complete his round after severe winds had disrupted play on Sunday, Peter had played his way into reasonable position on the leaderboard before dropping four shots in his last four holes.
A double bogey at the par three 17th came as a result of a tee shot pulled left into the hazard. Until then Peter had done well in the 40 kilometre per hour winds that had buffeted the Harbour Town layout.
Peter now travels to New Orleans for this weeks Zurich Classic of New Orleans, an event he has played once previously in 2002 when 23rd, although not at the relatively new venue, the TPC of Louisiana.

Peter has made the cut at the Verizon Heritage Classic, his second
consecutive round of 70 leaving him at two under for the tournament and
with just a few players still on the course he was in 24th place.
The
leader, Ernie Els, is at 12 under but Peter has another opportunity
this weekend to put together a couple of low rounds to move into
contention.
Peter made a whirlwind start today when he birdied
his first three holes, holing from off the green at the third, but he
struck trouble in the middle of his round dropping five shots in seven
holes shots to be two over for the round and at one over for the
tournament at that stage and could ill afford to drop any further
shots.
A double bogey 6 at his 9th hole today after going from
greenside bunker to greenside bunker caused most of the damage in that
shaky stretch and he then bogeyed the 10th. His fortunes turned at the
11th when he holed a monster from over 40 feet.
Peter missed
reasonable chances at the 12th 13th and 15th holes on the way in but
birdied from 5 feet at the 16th and holed a good putt at the last for
70. He also made a couple of nice par saves on the way in and is well
placed to make progress over the weekend.

Despite carrying a bout of the flu which has prevented him from
doing much in the way of practice this week, Peter is feeling very
happy with his game as he awaits a start at next week's Verizon
Heritage tournament at Hilton Head, an event he won in 2005.
Speaking from his home in Orlando today, Peter expressed satisfaction with his game. "I
played really well from tee to green last week in Houston and was brought undone
by just a few holes but in the overall scheme of things the game is in
good shape. I was in control last Friday until a blunder late in the
round, where I dropped four shots in three holes, cost me a chance to
play the weekend by just one but I am really looking forward to getting
to Hilton Head."

Peter has missed the cut at the Shell Houston Open by just one shot after a late stumble in his second round.
Peter
was in reasonably good shape in the event at two under for both his
round and the tournament through eleven holes of his round today but
dropped four shots in three holes to eventually finish at two over par
and missed the cut by one.
Peter opened his round with a putt
of 15 feet for birdie at the first and despite a bogey at his third hole
he made the turn in two under. On the tough 'Tournament' Course at
Redstone Golf Club he was within striking distance of the leaders at
that point but then came a series of dropped shots.
A poor second
to his 12th hole saw one shot dropped, a three putt at the par five 4th
(his 13th) saw another slip away and then at the 5th he pulled his tee
shot into the water and took double bogey.
Peter had a great
chance at the par five 8th (his second last hole) to secure the one
further birdie he would need to sneak back inside the cut line but
missed from 7 feet and he missed the weekend by one.
It was not such a bad week of ball striking but once again the putter let him down at crucial times.
Peter will now have this coming week of the Masters off before heading to the Verizon Heritage Classic at Hilton Head the following week. It will be the first time in four years that Peter has missed qualifying for Augusta.
