Peter has missed the cut at the Northern Trust Open despite making an encouraging start to his second round.

Two early birdies had Peter at 3 under for the tournament but six bogies in a stretch of 12 holes put paid to any chance of being around for the weekend.

Peter will now head to the Mayakoba Classic in Mexico  where he finished third in 2007.
