Peter has been forced to abandon his second round at the Memorial when darkness stopped play. At the point when he left the course he was one under for the day and two over for the tournament. He will return to the course to complete round two at around 8.00am on Saturday morning (Ohio time). The cut looks as if it will be around the two or three over mark so Peter will need to keep moving forward if he is to be around for the final thirty six holes. On the other hand another two or three birdies might have him thinking about the other end of the leaderboard Peter's first birdie came at the 3rd hole after his second finished 7 feet from the hole but he gave that shot back immediately when he bogeyed the 4th after finding the greenside trap. He added another birdie at the par five 5th after laying up and then pitching to 10 feet.
When he returns to the course in the morning Peter will face a 30 foot putt for birdie at the par five 7th.
