2008_zurich_classic_third_roundPeter has finished in 45th position at this week's Buick Open in Michigan, his last round of 69 improving his overnight position by eight places.

"It went well this week," said Peter after his round. "I had a few good opportunties to really shoot a couple of low scores and it's been a long time since I have been done that! I didnt capitalise but I think its a good sign for the upcoming events."

"I think I finally have the ball- driver combination right and got back to my old length off the tee. I also feel my depth control is back as well which is probably the most important part of my game."

"Qualifying for the Open is tomorrow in Dearborn and I am feeling good about my game. It will be imperative to drive the ball straight which will give lots of opportunities to make birdies."

"From there I will be travelling to Washington DC for Tiger's tournament at the Congressional Country Club which is another great course."
