Peter began his round at the 10th today and after a good par save at the 11th he hit a beautiful long iron to the 12th to four feet and made birdie. He missed a makeable chance at the 14th but birdied the par five 15th when he just missed the green with his second and got up and down. He hit a good approach at the 16th and made another birdie and had moved to three under for the day and five under for the tournament at that stage. He missed a golden opportunity for birdie at the 17th (his 8th) from just four feet and turned in three under. A great save at the par four 4th was followed not long after by a soft bogey at the 8th before a par at the last, after making a very good return putt, saw him finish with his second consecutive 69. Peter's driving was not quite as sharp today but with an improvement in that tomorrow further progress can be made. photo PGA Tour / Wireimage

A second round of two under 69 has seen Peter move to four under for
the tournament at the Cialis Western Open and although he is now six behind
the leader, Daniel Chopra, he is within four of second placed Vijay
Singh and within just three of a group of three in third place at seven under.
