It might not have been quite the finish he had been hoping for when he made such a fast start to the South Georgia Classic last Thursday but Peter has shown signs of progress by making his first cut of the season on the Nationwide Tour when 67th at the South Georgia Classic in Valdosta.

Peter was one of the early leaders on Thursday when be reached three under through 7 holes but an interrupted schedule and a golf course that was perhaps more suited to the bombers of the game did not work in Peter's favour.

The tournament was plagued by the remnants of the horrific weather that struck wide areas of southern USA but all 72 holes were completed. It took some early starts and late finishes to get it done however.

 Still it was a better showing for Peter and he will now head to Athens in Georgia for this week's Stadion Clasic at the University of Georgia Golf Club.
