Peter has finished in 42nd place at the Chrysler Championship and has finished his season on the USPGA Tour.

A final round of 73 was not quite how Peter wanted to end the season but he now looks back on a year which has been one where he has made a lot of cuts but seldom contended.

Peter finished 103rd on the money list with US$837,000 which would have been sufficient to keep his card in 2007 even if he did not have exemption from his win at The MCI Heritage in 2005. Peter missed only four cuts in 22 starts but was working on a reduced schedule in 2006 as he experimented with schedules and variations in equipment specifications.

Peter will return to Australia in the next week or so to prepare for the upcomng season there which for him will begin with the MFS Australian Open at Royal Sydney followed by the MasterCard Masters and then, in the second week of December, the Australian PGA Championship at Hyatt Regency Coolum.
