Peter has missed the cut at the Australian PGA Championship at Hyatt Regency Coolum but is not entirely unhappy with the way he played on day two.

 "I actually hit it quite well but again had issues with the putter and struggled with my distance control. For some reason I seem to be hitting it a bit further which is a good thing overall I guess but it is confusing me with my control at present. Clearly I would have preferred to make the cut but am not totally disappointed  with my week.

"At present I will be playing in Jack Newton's event next week and will then stay in Sydney until after the New Year. I will then head to Hawaii where I will try to get one of the Monday qualifying spots and hope to get my game ready for the Nationwide Tour that way."
