Peter is in Palm Desert in California this week for the Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer after narrowly missing the cut at the Sony Open.

"I actually played ok for my first week back - the only thing that let me down was my putter. It was a bit different from my putting woes in Australia where I was missing putts because of bad putts. Last week  I actually hit a lot of good putts but many of them hit the edge etc."

"This week I have done extensive work with the Callaway guys and will be able to reveal more about that next week. The new driver feels very good and should match well with the Callaway ball I have used for so long."

"This week we have four courses, one of them the Nicklaus course which is a new one in the rotation of courses for this event. I have only had a chance to play two of them but a couple of years ago when I played here for the first time I had only had the chance to walk the courses and finished 4th so perhaps it might be a case of the less knowledge the better!!"
