"I had to head back to Australia briefly last week as I had to get my visa sorted out. The course here is good although the greens are typical to that most on the West Coast are at this time of year with a bit of Poa in them." Peter has played the Nissan Open on five occasions making the cut in three of those. "I love the golf course," said Peter today. "Small greens and fairways that work either way make it a great test. The weather has been great and the greens are a little firmer at this stage than I have known them to be in previous years." Peter will play in the afternoon group on day one with fellow Australian and previous winner, Adam Scott. Peter has also decided to play the new event on the PGA Tour next week in Cancun in Mexico, the Mayakoba Golf Classic. Peter has not made the field for the Accentures so will play in Mexico instead.

Peter tees it up in this week's Nissan Open at the Riviera Country Club happy with his overall game. "I played well at the FRB Open although my driving on the final day could have been better but overall I am feeling good about the form at present."
