Peter returns to the USPGA Tour this week feeling that he has things in place for a good season. "Although I haven't yet played one hole of golf in 2007, I have practiced hard at every aspect of my game and feel that the way I was starting to play at the end of last year has continued on."Peter leaves for Hawaii today to play the Sony Open, the first full field event of the 2007 USPGA Tour, with the confidence of knowing that he has his game in shape, his equipment as he now wants it and with a schedule that he feels best suits him. "Last year I experimented with various combinations of my equipment and my schedule and learned from that and it is a nice feeling to know that this year they are now locked in place. I also worked pretty hard on my game and swing last year and it is starting to feel like the work is now kicking in also." Peter has played the Sony Open on four previous occasions, his best finish being in 2003 when he finished 12th after opening rounds of 66 and 65 at the Waialae Country Club on the island of Oahu. |
