Peter is in Charlotte in North Carolina for this week's Quail Hollow Championship trying to right a ship that went horribly wrong last week in New Orleans.

"Last week was a disaster, the only good thing to come out of missing the cut was that I got to spend some time with Barnesy (Peter's good mate and singing legend Jimmy) for the weekend and go to the Jazz Festival which was a lot of fun," said Peter from Charlotte today.

"I am not quite sure what went wrong last week as I was really looking forward to consolidating on the three cuts I had made in a  row and hopefully getting this show on the road."

"The course here though is fantastic and with no rain likely will be very Australian like by the end of the week. I only hope I can remember how to play like an Australian."

Peter has a 1.40pm tee time on day one.
