Peter was caught with just a few holes to play in round two of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, his late tee time in round two, after a delayed first round, resulting in him being stranded on the 16th tee when darkness brought play to a halt.

At that time he was one under for the round and in a share of 13th place and five behind the leader, Tim Clark.

Peter opened with consecutive birdes to move to seven under for the tournament after his opening round of 65. He two putted for birdie at the first then hit a nice pitch to the par four 2nd and holed from ten feet.

He was unable to add any further birdies but his only blemish of the day came at the par four 10th when he three putted from twenty feet. 

Peter will recommence his round at 10.30 am tomorow with the par three 16th and two par fours to finish.
