Peter heads back into action this week when he flies to Hartford in Connecticut for the Travelers Championship.

Peter has spent the week between the St Jude Classic and this week's event back at his home in Orlando where much of his attention has been focused on his chipping and pitching game.

"That part of my game has been letting me down and I have tried to work on new techniques but there is now part of me that thinks I might revert to what I was doing previously. My chipping and pitching action has, in the past, been been satisfactory at best but I have been looking for something to give me a greater variety of shots and something more suited to the style of courses and grasses we play here."

"I have worked this week on trying a bit of everything in very long practice sessions. It has been very hot here but I am determined to get that part of my game sorted. I'm not sure I am a lot closer to a solution as yet but I might yet go back to my original action which essentially is one of trapping the ball."   

My game overall has started to feel very good in recent weeks. Halfway through the qualifying for the US Open in Ohio I felt that things were beginning to fall into place and then overall I played pretty well in Memphis especially considering what had gone before.

My plan now is to play as often as possible over the next few weeks so I will play in Hartford and then in Washington at the AT&T, then the John Deere Classic, Milwaukee, Canada and at the Buick In Michigan and see how things develop.
