As Peter looked back at last week's missed cut at the PGA Championship, he rued a horror day from the tee on Friday and looked to put that right at this week's WGC - Bridgestone Championship.

"I hit it all over the place with my driver last Friday and Medinah was not a place to be doing that," said Peter after his practice round at the South Course at Firestone Country Club. "I spent a few hours on the range today trying to get it right as there is little doubt it will need to be this week."

"This course is in fabulous shape, the fairways are narrow, the rough is penalising and the greens are pure and quick. The fairways are narrowed further by the camber on many of them. While the course is quite soft at present, if the weather holds up and it dries out a little the fairways will be even tougher to hit. I am pleased with the progress my putting has made of late but obviously I need to hit more fairways."
