Peter has safely made the cut at the WNB Classic in Midland in Texas, a double bogey at his 6th hole today the only real hiccup in his opening 36 holes.

Peter recovered with two further birdies to finish with a round of 71 and at 4 under he is nine shots from the lead. Despite the gap between he and the contenders at this stage Peter continues to build with improving performances, his main goal now to find a way in the next four events including this week's to make the field for the Tour Championship.

In order to do so Peter likely needs another US$55,000 in the next four tournaments in Tennessee, Miami and Ponte Vedra but he is not yet done with this week's event and two good rounds over the weekend would certainly help his cause.
