Courtesy of some impressive tee to green play over the opening two days of the Turning Stone Resort Championship in Verona, New York, Peter has made the cut in his first tournament start for nearly six weeks.

Although his putting did not live up to the quality of his driving and iron play, Peter has the chance over the weekend to improve on that aspect of his game as he looks to sharpen his scoring for the weeks ahead. 

Peter missed only one fairway in his opening two rounds and today added a second round of 72 to go with his solid start yesterday when he recorded a round of 70 in the damp and cool conditions. 

Two late bogies today put the dampener on what might have been an even better start to the event. The first of those came when three putting the par three 6th hole and the latter when finding the bunker after a poor layup at the par five 8th (his 17th hole of the day).

At 2 under Peter trails the leader, Vaughn Taylor by eight shots.
