Peter has safely made the cut at the PODS Championship in Tampa, his second round of one over par 72 seeing him finish one shot inside the two over cut mark.

Peter opened with a birdie today after getting up and down from the bunker at the opening par five but then dropped a shot at the third after missing the green. He made the turn in even par 36 and when he bogeyed the 11th after missing the green from 100 yards he was at one over for the tournament. He was able to par in from there after creating very few chances of birdie but he is in for the weekend. 

It is the 6th cut Peter has made in eight starts in season 2007. 

While in only 53rd position, Peter is just seven shots from the 36 hole lead held by fellow countryman, Stephen Leaney, and if he is able to put together a good round tomorrow then he could well work his way into contention.
