Peter has added a two under par round of 69 to his opening 67 to be at 6 under and at the halfway mark of the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois he finds himself in 22nd position. While seven shots from the 36 hole lead of Darron Stiles he is not that far from contention, especially given the 36 holes that he and the rest of the field will be required to play tomorrow.

Peter began the day with a bogey when he missed the green at the 10th hole but bounced back with a superb approach at the 11th. At even par for the day and 4 under for the tournament as he made the turn he needed to play the final nine in even par or better is he was to make the reduced cutline of 4 under. Only the leading 60 players and ties would make the weekend to accomodate the 36 holes on Sunday.

The two birdies on his back nine would come with a two putt birdie after a fine second at the par five second hole and then a great tee shot at the par three 7th. 

It was another good day to and from the fairways but the putting misbehaved a little.
