peter_watches_resultA second round of one over par 71 has actually improved Peter's standing at the Mayakoba Classic at Playa del Carmen near Cancun in Mexico, leaving him in 13th position at the completion of 36 holes.

Peter recovered his lost golf clubs in time for the first round yesterday after they had gone missing en route from Los Angeles. "It took a bit of work to get it done but I got them back ok," said Peter after his first round yesterday. "I have been feeling a bit crook at the moment so my first round of 68 was ok considering."

Playing with an afternoon tee time on day two and in the windier conditions, Peter recovered from a shaky start although a dropped shot at his 17th hole a disappointment after the comeback he made from being two over through nine holes.

At one under par Peter is seven shots behind the 36 hole leader John Merrick but certainly not yet out of it especially if he is able to put together a low round tomorrow.
