Peter has bowed out of the Buick Invitational after a second round of 74 left him six shots short of the 2 over cutmark.

A triple bogey at his 14th hole today did not help his cause but it has been a struggle on both days and Peter will now head to his home in Orlando for a week's break before heading back to California for the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

 If there was one encouraging sign out of the week it was that Peter's putting appears to have made a turn for the better.
