As Peter undertook the five hour drive from Las Vegas to Scottsdale, for this weeks Frys.com event  he had the chance to outline his thoughts on his game currently and his plans for the weeks ahead.

"I'm enjoying the drive," he said. "It is good to be able to leave when I am ready to leave and just cruise along heading east. Things are going ok I guess although a little erratic. I have stuck with the short putter and it has been not too bad. In the Texas Open I did not play too well from tee to green but last week it was better."

"At this stage I am playing the event at Disney in two week's time but not too sure about next week (The Ginn sur Mer Classic). I am keen to try and finish inside the top 70 on the money list as that allows me into the restricted fields next year.

Those inside the top 70 at year's end are guaranteed starts in events like the Arnold Palmer, Colonial and the Memorial which are all events I like playing, so although I can still get in them if I am in the top 70 at the time of the events next year, to do it this year takes that risk out of it."

Peter is currently in 73rd position on this year's money list.

Peter did not play in the inaugural staging of the Frys.com event last year so will play the Grayhawk Golf Club for the first occasion this week.
