On the eve of the Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship at the Hyatt Regency Coolum, Peter was looking forward to again playing a golf course on which he has had much success. Peter won this event at this venue in 2002, then again in 2004 and last year finished runner up to Nick O'Hern.

Peter played the Holden Scramble Final on Monday as a guest of the PGA, played 13 holes on Tuesday at Hyatt Regency Coolum and then played 9 holes in today's pro am before threatening weather brought a close to that event.

"My game feels good," said Peter. "I was pleased with the way I played at Huntingdale all things considered and spent last week working pretty hard on things at the Lakes in Sydney especially my short game."

Peter will play with Stuart Appleby and Rory Sabbatini at 12.35 on day one.
