Peter has made the decision to finish his 2007 PGA Tour season and his next start is now likely to be the MasterCard Masters in Melbourne late next month. Peter had considered playing this week's Fry's Electronics event in Scottsdale and the Disney Golf Classic in his home town of Orlando but for some time now has also been considering taking a long break and decided to take advantage of this period to do just that.

Peter is traveling overseas as part of his break from tournament golf. "I haven't really had a decent break from the game for some time and I had reached a point where I felt I needed one," said Peter. "The last extended break was an enforced one after I broke my rib more than three years ago and I am looking forward to just focusing on taking time out from the game."

"I am looking forward to being refreshed and ready to go when I get back to Australia."
