Peter has just made the cut at the AT&T National at the Congressional Country Club but it required a long wait between him finishing his round and when the final few players of the day determined the cut mark.

Peter played in the afternoon group on day two but a weather delay late in the day would mean that the final few players on the golf course would not finish until around 7.45. It would take a mistake by one of those last few players that allowed Peter and 13 other players at 3 over to know their fate. They all made it through to the third round.

"I really thought I was one short but glad to get in," said Peter after his round.  "Yesterday I hit it absolutely sideways with the driver. It was very dissapointing after really feeling good about my game coming into this week."

"Today however I drove it like a dart and hit my irons great but missed everything I looked at. I hit my fair share of good putts but just couldn't get it in. Hopefully I can hit it the same tomorrow and hole a few putts as well."
