Peter has just made the cut at the US Bank Championship, holing a five foot putt at his final hole of the day to sneak inside the 1 over par cut mark.

An opening round of 72 at the event in Milwaukee had Peter needing something better in round two if he was to be around for the weekend. A bogey at his 5th hole did not make things any easier but a delighful pitch to the short par four 17th (his 8th hole of the day) set up a birdie to move back to even par for the day.

Peter still needed one more birdie and that would come at his 11th hole when he hit an approach from 130 yards to 6 feet and converted.

While it is not the start he was looking for, Peter has retained a chance to play the weekend for the fifth consecutive week, turning around a horror start to the season.
