After losing ground when missing the cut last week at the Barclays, Peter needs a turnaround of fortunes if he is to advance to next week's BMW Championship in St Louis. Peter is currently in 84th position and with only those inside the top 70 making it through to the BMW, Peter will need a good finish this week. Already assured of US$70,000 in bonuses for making it this far, the bonus money gets significantly bigger in the events ahead. "This week is my last chance to keep my playoff hopes going," said Peter. "I've been here for five days practising and feel like there is some improvement. They have made a few changes to the feel of the golf course almost giving it a links type look with Scottish style bunkering and wispy grasses everywhere. The greens are firm and very quick." "I will be using the new limited edition R7 driver this week and the Tour Burner 3&5 Woods." "Hopefully a lot of hard work will play off this week as if it doesn't I will be having another month off." Peter has played this event on three previous occasions his best finish coming in 2003 on debut when 24th.
