Peter has finished just inside the cut line at the Chrysler Championship near Tampa on Florida's west coast but he will rue a finish which saw him drop three shots in the closing three holes.

At one under with three holes to go today, Peter was reasonably well placed for a possible challenge over the weekend but a double bogey at his 16th hole and a bogey at the blast saw him just make to to the weekend's play. 

The front nine had been somewhat of a roller coaster with three birdies and three bogeys but although he had been unable to convert at the two par fives early in the back nine the round was going well until the 16th.

This was the 18th cut Peter has made in 22 starts on the PGA Tour so in that regard it has been a resonable season but he has not been able to make progress over the weekend in most events to date.

This will be Peter's last chance to do so in 2006 on the PGA Tour and so he will be keen to finish the season off well before heading for Australia.
