Six birdies and three bogeys resulted in a  third round of 69 at the MasterCard Masters and at eight under par for the tournament Peter now finds himself in 5th place, albeit five shots behind the leader Justin Rose.

After making the turn in one under 35, Peter added a birdie at the par five 10th and again at the par five 14th before his tee shot at the 15th to close range set up his final birdie of the day.

Peter has been particularly pleased with his ball striking this week and a very good round tomorrow might yet see him contending for his third Australian Masters jacket.  

Peter plays tomorrow' s final round with Englishman Paul Casey at 12.57.
