Peter has finished the Sportsbet Masters at even par and well back in the field and his round today was typical of the week overall. "It was a long day but it summed up the way things have been all week," he said referring to his round. "I hardly made a putt of any note all week but I am not hitting it too bad and hope that I can get the putter working. I suppose when you have nine three putts you are not going to give yourself a chance of winning are you."

Peter made good moves on several occasions during the week but because the putter was not performing he was unable to maintain and build momentum.

Peter heads out tonight for Hyatt Regency Coolum where he will prepare for this coming week's Australian PGA Championship, an event he has won on three of the last six stagings and finished runner up on another occasion.
