Peter has wound up his 2008 golfing year with a disappointing finish at the Australian Open.

Peter finished in a share of 46th position after weekend rounds of 77 and 76 and will now take some time off to work on an injured shoulder which has been bothering him for a while. "I just didn't putt well for most of the week and even though I was in contention after 36 I wasn't playing well or wasn't sharp."

"It was a disappointing way to finish the season in fact the last three events were rather ordinary but the year as a whole has been a little like that." I will now take a mini break before heading back to the US in early January but in the meantime will get some treatment on my shoulder."
