Peter will miss this coming week's Crowne Plaza Colonial tournament, his back not yet responding to the treatment he has been undergoing.

"It will be disappointing to miss the Colonial as it is one of my favourite courses on Tour but I am keen to get it (the back) right for the events following and hopefully it will improve next week," said Peter from his home in Orlando.

Peter has regularly played well at the Colonial Country Club at Fort Worth, having finished 3rd and 4th in recent years but with events such as the Memorial and the US Open not too far away he is keen to get fully fit.

Peter will now target the Memorial as hopefully his next start, another course on which he has played well previously.
