Peter has witched back to the short putter this week as he seeks a solution to his putting concerns. Peter played in today's pro-am for the Australian Open at Royal Sydney and after missing the cut at last week's Australian PGA Champiopnship is feeling a little more optimistic than was the case last week.

"The game feels alright actually. The putter I am using is an old one I had lying around and so far so good with it. We shall see how it goes I guess." Peter had an adventurous Monday, the charity day in which he was to play at Magenta Shores called off for bad weather and then to cap that off he got a flat tyre in the rain when driving back to Sydney. "I got some great help from the NRMA guy - thank goodness."

Peter played at Royal Sydney two years ago and finished 14th. Peter has an afternoon tee time on day one when he will play with Rod Pampling and Mathew Goggin.
