 Peter has made further progress in round three of the Barclays Classic at the Westchester Country Club but a poor finish to his round could prove very costly.
With just three holes to go in today's round, Peter was two under for the day and four under for the tournament. With the reachable 18th still to come there was a distinct chance he could get to five under and within striking distance of the lead. The birdies had come early in the round at the par five 5th and at the par three 6th where he holed a very long putt. At the 16th he three putted from long range and at the 17th, Peter drove it in the fairway bunker and could only just get it out and took another bogey. At the par five 18th he found the greenside bunker with his second but hit a good recovery to four feet. He missed that unfortunately to finish with an even par round and is at two under for the tournament. Peter is in 22nd place and six behind the leader Billy Andrade.             |
