Peter has struggled in the opening round of the Barclays in New Jersey, his opening round of two over par 73 leaving him in 89th position in the field of 135.

"It's all a bit tough at the moment," said Peter after his round. "I'm driving it ok but my iron play isn't good enough and that is putting a lot of pressure on my putting. The course has dried out considerably and that has made it shorter and hence the good scores today.  The greens may be better in the morning also as they got a little crusty and bumpy this afternoon."
